The teachers of Daroon.
Each of them came to teaching through their own practice. Here is where they trained, what they teach, and the languages you can hear in their classes.
Yasi
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Yasi began her yoga journey in Iran, where her passion for Iyengar Yoga and mindful movement took root.
Throughout her teaching career, she has worked with students of all ages, abilities, and physical conditions, including those with injuries, disabilities, and limited mobility. She believes that yoga is for everyone, and through thoughtful modifications, supportive props, and personalized guidance, she creates a welcoming and accessible space for every student.
What makes Yasi’s teaching unique is her deep passion for anatomy and understanding the human body. She incorporates anatomical insights, visual illustrations, and clear explanations into her classes, helping students understand how their muscles and joints work and how each movement supports their well-being.
For Yasi, yoga is more than a physical practice. It is a journey toward body awareness, strength, balance, and self-discovery.
In her classes, you won't just practice yoga — you'll learn to understand, respect, and connect with your body on a deeper level.
Nili
With a background in theater, performing arts, and dance, our instructor brings a soulful and transformative approach to movement, blending artistic expression with mindfulness, embodiment, and healing practices.
Believing that movement is more than physical expression, she has developed her own approach to conscious movement, helping individuals release tension, reconnect with their inner selves, and discover freedom through dance.
Her classes offer a welcoming and nurturing space where movement becomes a journey of self-discovery, emotional release, and authentic expression. Through dance, breath, and mindful awareness, she encourages students to listen to their bodies, awaken their inner wisdom, and cultivate harmony between body, mind, and soul.
At Daroon House, her philosophy is simple: Healing doesn't always begin with words. Sometimes, it begins with a breath, a movement, and the courage to feel.
Fahimeh
With over 30 years of teaching experience in Physical Education, including 17 years at the university level in Iran and approximately 14 years in the United States, our instructor brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to every class.
Known for her warm personality, positive energy, and compassionate approach, she creates a welcoming and supportive environment where every student feels comfortable, valued, and inspired.
Her teaching philosophy goes beyond physical movement. With a heart-centered and holistic approach, she believes in nurturing the connection between body, mind, and spirit while encouraging students to discover their confidence, joy, and inner strength.
For her, teaching is more than a profession—it's a passion that comes from the heart.
